Membership Information
Gentle Stretches and Cardio Exercise
We do gentle stretches to cardio exercises set to recorded music and instruction in the shallow end of the pool. The exercise session is self-directed. Members are required to monitor 2 times per year. We alternate between 5 routines. Routine A was developed in 2013 and includes stretching with about 25 minutes of cardio. Routine B was developed in 2015 and includes more intense cardio and less stretching. Routine C was developed in 2018, similar to B but with some updated music and moves. Routine D was introduced in October, 2021 and is the least cardio demanding of the routines. Routine E is our latest routine introduced in 2024 and is similar to C with some updated moves.
Joining as a new member?
We are welcoming new members (must be a Sun City West Recreation Card holder) for 2025 starting November 1, 2024. New memberships will be valid from the date of joining through December 31, 2025.
New member special: New members who join us in November and December of 2024 will have their memberships valid through 2025 without needing to renew for 2025.
Membership is open to anyone with a valid Sun City West Rec Card. Sun City West Rec Card holders may be guests 5 times before requiring to join. Non-rec card holders may come as guests of members for 5 times within a calendar year.
2025 renewals for existing members will be accepted from November 1, 2024 through January 31, 2025. Please note that our membership year is from Jan. 1 through Dec. 31.



Monitoring Requirements
Each member is required to monitor 2 times per year, even if you are only a partial-year resident. Monitoring involves checking people in as they show up for class. Please sign up to monitor on the calendar on the table as you come in for class. Please take a reminder sheet with you when you sign up to monitor.
